What is Contingent Fee Representation?

Contingent fee representation is when a law firm represents a client without collecting a fee unless and until the plaintiff recovers on his or her claim. This fee is generally a percentage of any recovery made on the client's injury claim. Therefore, if the client doesn't recover any money, there is no fee.
